These Terms & Conditions govern your use of ellencurrandietitian.com ("the Website"), operated by Ellen Curran, trading as Ellen Curran Dietitian, a sole trader based in Ireland. By browsing or using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you go on to purchase a 1:1 programme, that relationship is additionally governed by a separate Client Agreement & Privacy Notice provided at booking.
1. About this Website
I am Ellen Curran, a CORU-registered dietitian and member of the Irish Nutrition and Dietetic Institute (INDI). The Website provides general information about my practice, services and published articles, and allows visitors to submit enquiries (general or workplace nutrition) or navigate to my booking platform, Nurish, to book a discovery call or consultation.

Ellen Curran Dietitian is a fully virtual practice. All appointments take place online and there is no clinic at this address, which is for correspondence only. Email is the quickest way to contact me.
2. Not medical advice
Content on the Website, including the About, 1:1 Support, Corporate and Articles pages, is provided for general information purposes only. It does not constitute individual medical or dietetic advice, and reading it does not create a client relationship between us. General content should not be relied upon as a substitute for personalised advice from a qualified healthcare professional, and you should always seek the advice of your GP or another appropriate healthcare provider with any questions about a medical condition. If you have a medical emergency, contact emergency services (112/999) immediately. The Website is not monitored for urgent enquiries.
3. Booking calls and consultations
Buttons such as "Book Free Discovery Call" link to Nurish (operated by Craftech Media Solutions Ltd), the platform I use for scheduling, video calls and client communications. Nurish processes your booking and client information on my behalf, as described in my Privacy Policy, and Nurish's own terms apply to your use of the platform itself. Once a booking is made and you become a client, the terms of our working relationship are set out in my separate Client Agreement & Privacy Notice, which takes precedence over these website Terms for anything relating to the delivery of the 1:1 programme.
4. Enquiry forms
The Website includes a general "Get in Touch" enquiry form for anyone who would rather email before booking a discovery call, and a separate workplace nutrition enquiry form for corporate enquiries. If you submit either form, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate, and I will use it to respond to your enquiry as described in my Privacy Policy. Please do not include health information in these forms. Submitting a form does not create any binding agreement to provide services; that would be confirmed separately in writing.
5. Insurance and tax relief
Where mentioned on the Website, eligibility for private health insurance reimbursement or tax relief on consultation fees (for example, under Irish Revenue's rules on health expenses) is subject to your own insurance provider's policy and the applicable Revenue rules, and it is your responsibility to confirm your eligibility. Clients receive receipts for health insurance purposes as set out in my Client Agreement & Privacy Notice. I cannot guarantee that any reimbursement or relief will be granted.
6. Intellectual property
All content on the Website, including text, articles, logos, images and design, is owned by me or licensed to me, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may view and share Website content for personal, non-commercial use, but you may not reproduce, republish or use it commercially without my prior written permission.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Website in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent or harmful
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website or its underlying systems
- Submit false, misleading or malicious information through an enquiry form
- Scrape, copy or reuse Website content for commercial purposes without permission
8. Links to other websites
The Website may contain links to third-party websites. I am not responsible for the content, accuracy or privacy practices of external websites, and including a link does not imply endorsement.
9. Limitation of liability
The Website and its content are provided on an "as is" basis. While I take care to keep information accurate and up to date, I make no warranties as to the completeness or accuracy of general content on the Website. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Website, or from reliance on general information published on it. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Irish law.
10. General terms
10.1 Entire agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between us relating to your use of the Website, and supersede any prior representations or discussions on that subject.
10.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found by a court or regulator to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
10.3 Force majeure
I am not liable for any delay or failure to operate the Website resulting from circumstances beyond my reasonable control, including hosting or platform outages, or internet disruption.
11. Changes to the Website and these Terms
I may update the Website's content and these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and any disputes relating to the Website will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
