Tired of restrictive diets, cutting out your favourite foods and feeling like you're constantly starting over? Nutrition doesn't have to be complicated, restrictive or all-or-nothing.
I'm Ellen Curran, a CORU Registered Dietitian specialising in sustainable weight management. I help you cut through the nutrition noise, focus on what you can add to your diet and build realistic, evidence-based habits that support your health without compromising your enjoyment of food.
No quick fixes. No unnecessary food rules. Just an approach that works for you and your life.
I'm Ellen Curran, a CORU Registered Dietitian, and I believe looking after your health shouldn't mean giving up the foods you love, following endless food rules or feeling guilty when things don't go to plan.
I've seen how years of restrictive approaches and unrealistic expectations can leave people feeling frustrated, confused and stuck in an all-or-nothing cycle. Too often, people blame themselves when an approach was never designed to work long term. This is a big part of why I care so much about helping people see nutrition differently.
Improving your health doesn't have to mean taking things away. It's about understanding what you can add, building confidence around food and finding realistic changes that fit your life.
My approach combines evidence-based nutrition with a genuine understanding of the challenges people face. I take the time to listen, understand your goals and work with you to build healthier habits that feel achievable, enjoyable and sustainable.
I hold a first-class honours MSc in Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics and a BSc in Human Nutrition from University College Dublin. Alongside my one-to-one practice, I deliver corporate nutrition talks and workshops and work with healthcare and social care organisations.
I started Ellen Curran Dietitian to offer personalised, evidence-based support that puts people first. I believe good nutrition isn't about perfection. It's about feeling better, improving your health and building habits that last.
Knowing what to do is one thing.
Making it last is another.
If you've spent years trying different diets, cutting out foods or following plans that never seem to stick, it's time for a different approach.
